TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR PLANET ROCKS MUTLEY CREW

 

These terms and conditions should be read together with, and are in addition to Bauer Radio Limiteds standard
terms and conditions at: http://www.bauerlegal.co.uk/radio-website-terms.html (the General Terms).

Together these specific terms and conditions and the General Terms shall be referred to as the Terms.

 

DESCRIPTION AND DETAILS

A series of periodic dog walks (each a Walk) organised and attended by Planet Rock presenter Darren Redick. Each walk will last approximately one hour and will take place in parks around the country.

HOW TO BECOME A MUTLEY CREW MEMBER

       To participate in a Walk you must first register as a member of Planet Rocks Mutley Crew via the Website.

       Registration is free of charge, by filling in the form on the Website.

       Members and potential members must make full disclosure of the details of their dog, including: breed, vaccinations, treatments and characteristic problems such as antisocial behaviour (including aggression and excessive loud barking).

       Only registrations received in accordance with these Terms and Conditions will be accepted and will become a member (each a Mutley Crew Member and together the Mutley Crew Members).

DATES, TIMES AND PARTICIPATION

       The dates for each Walk will be decided on an ad hoc basis at the sole discretion of the Organiser.

       Mutley Crew Members will be informed of each Walk date and time and the designated Walk meeting point by email approximately 14 days in advance of a Walk.

       Any Mutley Crew Member wishing to take part in a Walk must reply to the above email no later than 7 days prior to a Walk to inform the Organiser that they will be attending.

       On the designated date and time of a Walk, the Organiser will wait a maximum of 10 minutes for Mutley Crew Members to arrive at the designated meeting point before commencing the Walk.

       The Organiser reserves the right to cancel, amend, terminate or temporarily suspend a Walk / the Mutley Crew / an individual Mutley Crew Membership.

MUTLEY CREW MEMBERSHIP RESTRICTIONS

       Mutley Crew Membership is open to UK residents aged 18 years or over at the date of their entry and are not an employee or otherwise professionally connected with the Organiser.

       The Organiser reserves the right to refuse participation in a Walk for any reason whatsoever, especially if the Mutley Crew Member appears to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or unable to control their dogs behaviour.

       Mutley Crew Membership is not open to persons whose dog(s) has / have aggressive tendencies or are registered under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 (the Act).

       Mutley Crew Membership is not open to persons whose dog(s) are not up to date with vaccinations or flea, tick and de-worming treatments.

OTHER CONDITIONS

       Other than for death or personal injury resulting from its negligence and so far as permitted by law, the Organiser hereby excludes all liability for any loss, damage, cost and expense, whether direct or indirect, howsoever caused in connection with a Walk. Mutley Crew Members should be aware that the Organiser will not arrange for the attendance on the Walk of a vet or anyone else trained to care for animals.

       Attendance on a Walk is at your own risk. Mutley Crew Members (not the Organiser) are fully liable for the actions of their dog including an injury to a third party, any property or any other dog caused by the Mutley Crew Members dog. It is each Mutley Crew Members responsibility to ensure that they and their dog are fit to attend each Walk and their dog remains under control for the duration of each walk.

      Mutley Crew Members must bring an appropriate dog lead to a Walk and ensure that their dog is kept on the lead at all times.

       Mutley Crew Members must bring plastic bags to remove dog faeces to a Walk and must ensure that all of their dogs faeces are disposed of appropriately.

       Please note, the Control of Dogs Order 1992 mandates that any dog in a public place must wear a collar with the name and address including the post code of the owner engraved or written on it or engraved on a tag, plate or disc whether the dog is chipped or not. Anyone failing to comply is guilty of an offence under the Animal Health Act 1981.

DATA PROTECTION

       Mutley Crew Members personal data (including their email address) will be collected by the Organiser and will be used to contact Mutley Crew Members to let them know when a Walk is taking place.

       By registering as a Mutley Crew Member, Mutley Crew Members consent to the storage and processing of their personal data as described here.

       Personal data will be stored by the Organiser for the duration of membership and may remain so even after membership ends but will not be used for marketing purposes.
